Although we love money, bikes, and parts,
most of all we love volunteers! Volunteers are really key
to making our program a success. Any help you can offer is greatly
valued by our staff and students. We welcome any commitment level.
If you are new to NBW, you will receive a short introduction to our procedures to
help you integrate into the program of your choosing. Most opportunities require little to no
bike repair knowledge.
Active volunteers are welcome (and encouraged) to take our Monday night
adult repair class at no charge. Please send an e-mail to
repairclass@neighborhoodbikeworks.org to find out when the next
class begins. Eligible volunteers may also earn hours towards bicycles or parts surplus to the needs of our youth program.
Check out our volunteer opportunities on idealist.org.
To become a Neighborhood Bike Works volunteer, please e-mail Nadine at volunteers@neighborhoodbikeworks.org or call (215) 386-0316.
