The Divine Bike Church was started in 1999 as a fundraising effort for Neighborhood Bike Works (NBW). Bike Church is a chance for folks over 18 to use our space to work on their bikes. We also sell used bikes and parts that are surplus to the needs of the youth programs. Bike Church is Philadelphia's only bicycle co-op -- we are entirely volunteer-staffed. The volunteer facilitators will help, but will not do the work for visitors. Some volunteers are professional mechanics in real life, but most are enthusiasts. Not all of our staff is able to solve every bike problem, but we'll do our best.
