Become a Facilitator
Our volunteer-run adult co-op can always use more friendly people who are willing to share their bike knowledge with adult patrons on Bike Church nights. To find out more information on what it takes to become a Bike Church facilitator, please contact Yowei Shaw at yowei@neighborhoodbikeworks.org.

Help Clean and Organize the Shop
With 200+ people using our shop every week, it tends to get a little messy. If you would like to help us to maintain/instate order you can come to our monthly Shape up Our Shop (SOS) days every third Saturday of the month from 10am until 1pm. Please contact Olivia Haas at volunteers@neighborhoodbikeworks.org  to RSVP.

Donate Stuff!
To help keep the cost of our programs low, we ask sympathetic corporations and individuals to donate items such as bikes, food, helmets, locks, parts, tools, art and craft supplies etc. If you have extra stuff, please bring it to our shop! We can also always use help calling and writing companies to solicit donations. We welcome development help from people experienced in this area. Please contact Andy Dyson at andy@neighborhoodbikeworks.org for more information.

Volunteer for NBW
There are many other ways to get involved with Neighborhood Bike Works. We always need volunteers to help with our Earn-a-Bike classes, bike safety checks, drop-in repair sessions, bike parking events, community group rides, and other occasional events. Click here for more information about these programs. If you are new to our program, you will receive a short introduction to our procedures and policies to help you integrate into the program of your choosing. Little to no bicycle repair knowledge is necessary to help out with most of our programs. To become a volunteer, please email volunteers@neighborhoodbikeworks.org.

Our volunteers are welcome to take our Monday night adult repair class at no charge. Please inquire for more details to repairclass@neighborhoodbikeworks.org to find out when the next class begins.
